超渡praying ceremony 2010!

超渡(chao du) is a praying ceremony which usually held during hungry ghost festival. Domo bet most people dunno the meaning of chao du and why people wanna do chao du.

Come let Prof Domo explain to you! When a human dies, they have to undergo reborn or reincarnation within 49 days. If you are a bad person who did a lot of bad things like go kecoh ppl, curse other ppl or whatever things which is not in favor of proper behavior, then u in deep shit liao! Those bad ppl will be "beat" into hell or become a "hungry ghost" or even reborn menjadi khinzir atau ayam kambing! Unfortunately we are not macam Uchiha sasuke who posses sharingan who can see thu any shit here.

There you go. It's the sharingan aka god's eye! So we cannot see or we dunno shit wat will happen to our loves one who passed away. Of course we hope they won't kena "beat" into hell, soooooooo we do this Chao du to collect 工德 so they can reborn as better being!

This is the 1st time Domo attend this praying ceremony and this is also the 1st time Nirvana Memorial Park shah alam organize this event. Event starts at 3-9pm saturday and sunday, so before they start we went to visit our beloved Uncle Wong who passed away now too long ago T_T

This is where Uncle live, very very peaceful place with state of the art structure as well as facilities.

If you look carefully Domo was here as well to pay some respect.

After we burn some......forgot wat they call in english. Who knows please tell domo.

After bai bai everyone move to the chao du place~!

You can see all those people who wanna perform chao du have to purchase a lot and put their ancestor name on the yellow paper. Each of the lot cost RM388 but...

We getting the RM8888 one so called premium.

 So we get more+bigger stuff and can be in the front. woohoo but RM8888 worth it?

Besides we also hav our own private house =D

Since this is the 1st time they organizing this, it's a bit messy when they try to control the crowd.

However the Laser performance a bit lame, for me it's not working at all and not impressive. sorry.

In the second night, everything have to be delivered to the other dimension, "the chosen one" have to carry the ancestor yellow plate to the burning place.

Luckily got ppl help to carry our bangalow if not Domo dun think he can manage it >.<

Everything are throw together and the green monster with 4 horse will deliver it for us.

 Hope Uncle wong , Grandpa and great grandpa can received these gift.

Actually there had been issues debating regarding this kinda suspicious acts. Some people choose not to believe it because even science couldn't explain, by burning this stuff, how would you know if those stuff really will go to another dimension? some people think it is a scam just to cheat people money. According to calculating the number of lots, Nirvana Memorial at least recieved RM150k for organizing this.
Nowadays this kinda industires become very common in everyday life even u can see astro commercial of Nirvana selling lots after you passed away.

Anyway Domo is a believer and hopes after doing this, our ancestor will popi all of our family member ping ping an an, shen ti jian kang!
