RIP Ah Chan

 10 Aug 2025 marks a sad day in the family. Our youngest member Ah Chan passed away. Few days ago i've noticed something wrong and i have a feeling that something would happen. However Ah Chan wait till we came back from camping, after few hours of struggling he decided to greet us farewell.

It surprised me that this incident hit my son hard as we was sobbing and crying while sitting beside Ah Chan trying to say good bye. The scene is not comfortable and it is very heart breaking. Now i realised that my son is not a cold blooded human being.

It's only a year and a half Ah Chan is with us, every morning before we leave the house he will swim up with his fins greeting us goodbye and it is very heart warming even though it is only a fish for other people but for us he already a family member.

After some analysis and discussion we realised that Ah Chan actually got food poisoning from the shrimp which was not kept in a very good condition and let us take this as a lesson.

Giving Ah Chan a proper funeral and felt bad and sorry about my son. We have decided to step up the game and get another channa, hoping to give a better care of he/she in the future.

RIP Ah Chan, you will never be forgotten.
